Ichiro Suzuki is easily one of the greatest baseball players of all-time, and, when the time comes (hopefully not anytime soon, because he still wants to play!) he’ll be a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer.
After all, he holds all kinds of various records and is generally considered to be one of the greatest pure hitters in MLB history. Of course, he’s never been just a stick.
In his 17-year Major League career, Ichiro has earned ten Gold Glove awards for his work in the outfield (in fact, he earned 10 consecutive Gold Glove awards to start his MLB career) and the cannon he had where his arm is supposed to be was a big part of that.
Need a refresher?
Watch as he cuts down Terrence Long trying to go first-to-third on a single to right field back in 2001 …
Filthy.
Never test Ichiro.
