The more I see from Adrian Beltre – as a person (he’s obviously an excellent baseball player) – the more I like him. A few years ago, we got to know his adorable bro-mance with shortstop Elvis Andrus:

And now, he’s pulled another fun one, trying to sell the third base umpire on a catch he obviously didn’t make. Watch:
I love it! He turns around so seriously, as if he’s half expecting cheers from his fans and teammates. You may not have recorded an out there, Mr. Beltre, but you did make us laugh. And for that, we’re happy.
