Adrian Beltre might be one of the oldest players in the game right now, but he’s still one of the best and most exciting guys to watch.
Aside from being one of the few active, future Hall-of-Famers (which always gives you an excuse to watch him play whenever you have the chance), Beltre exudes happiness, leadership, and general awesomeness on the field.
Last season, for example, Beltre slashed .312/.383/.532 with 17 home runs and 71 RBI. And this year – at the ripe old age of 39 – Beltre is still raking: .310/.366/.437.
And like I said, in between raking, he likes to keep things light.
Watch as he purposefully (mis)juggles a ball, jokingly tips his cap to Jed Lowrie on an infield single, and tries to steal second and third … after a foul ball.
Just keep doing you, Adrian. We love it.
