Although baseball fans catch foul balls and homers in the stands of Major League Baseball games on a daily basis in the summer, rarely are they legitimately impressive grabs. And even more rarely are those legitimately impressive grabs made by little kids – but last night was the perfect storm of impressiveness.
Check out this grab from a young fan in Pittsburgh last night, who used his glove to make a perfectly-timed leap and play on a foul ball in the bottom of the eighth inning.
It’s insanely-awesome:
Not only does he jump to make the catch, but the ball knocked him off his feet and he still held onto it. The subsequent fist pump with the ball in hand was completely earned. Well done, kid. See you at tryouts.
