A 35 year old middle infielder who can't hit at ALL anymore? And because of his name, and his fame, will likely command a decent salary? This is the kind of move that Hendry would make. I thought that with Hendry gone, I could rest easy that the cubs wouldn't be making hopeless, worthless moves like this anymore. I mean, I'd rather have freaking Bobby Scales. Edgar Renteria? A 35 year old middle infielder who can’t hit at ALL anymore? And because of his name, and his fame, will likely command a decent salary?

Spring Training is less than a week away, and he still doesn't know if he'll be eligible to play in the first 50 games or not.
