Had some Sam Adams hazel brown the other day and it was tasty. Had some natty ice the night before that and it was tastier.

Upland is coming to Chicago:

Damn. Estaré ocupado. From the write-up, I bet they're bringing one or more lambics.

I'm sure they are. They just finished brewing a few small batches. And damn you for making me translate that.

They are going to be permanitely on tap at River North with their Wheat and Dragon Fly IPA plus a rotating seasonal starting with Infinite Wisdom Tripel and Upland Harvest Ale. The Harvest is yummy, I had it last weekend when they had a tapping party. It's a pale ale that is dry hopped with citra hops.

You, my friend, are such a disappointment.

The Harvest sounds right up my alley. I'm adding it to my long, and ever-growing, list of wants.

This made some headlines last month. It's apparently very, very rare.

If I'm going to get torn down, I'd prefer to enjoy some delicious beverages in the process.

Joe, you don't have to feel so inferior just because you like mass-produced corporate beer.

Nah, I feel inferior for other reasons.

I am really digging the Sam Adams Hazel Brown and I enjoy actual micro-brews (Sam Adams being a step-above micro brew but not quite corpora-brew) well enough.  It's just that, typically, the way I drink beer, I don't really pay much attention to it so quantity over quality.  When I'm in the mood to savor beer, I go micro, or German.

I agree. For the most part, I drink beer for the taste over the effects anyway.

Sucks, I live in a beer desert, closest I've been able to find besides 312 is either Horny Goat or Great Lakes Elliot Ness. All three good beers in their own right, just sucks I cannot find any store that actually carries a selection by me.
