Anyone else watch the premier? I just got around to it. I thought it was pretty good. Obviously the special effects are turrrible (as is frequently the case with television), but it's an intriguing enough idea.

Hopefully they do a good job of dealing with the various physics-related issues. The first thing I'm having trouble ignoring: they say they're in a different "time stream" (which is good, because then they don't run into the Grandfather Paradox), but they keep talking about being in "the past." If you're in a different "time stream," you're not in "the past." You're just in another, well, universe.

It wasn't bad. I don't have many shows that I keep up with this year, so I'll probably keep watching it, at least until Fox puts in on Friday night.

Were/are you a 'Fringe' watcher? I kept trying to get into it, but failed.

Basically Terra Nova seems to what happens if you mix Jurassic Park, Stargate, Lost, and Avatar with the bad CGI that one finds on the SyFy network movies. I'll watch a few more but I don't see it being all that good.

Nope, I tried it but never go into it. I was a semi-fan of both Firefly and the terminator show before they got tanked though.
