This is a disgusting performance by the entire our team and it's leadership. The only thing left to see Sveum pinch hit and hit a home run. That would complete the injury-to-insult assault on the team.

It seems obvious that we do not do well against left-hand pitchers. Why, then, does Theo/Jed seem to emphasize the "need" for left-hand power hitters? Especially when Sveum (sp??) does not play LeHair against them. Can anyone explain?

We can't hit RHP either. We just can't hit period. LaHair Has looked foolish at the plate aginst LHP's as of late.

What is Stewart hitting against LHP? I can understand that. I don't understand why Theo/Jed are not looking for right-hand power hitters too. I don't thing we have any really good right hand power hitting prospects in the minors, do we? Is it something to do with Wrigley Field? The Wind? Sammy did ok ther, as did Ernie. I'm just curious why Left-hand hitters. I'd like to see a couple power hitters no matter left or right.

Stewart .206 RHP. .186 LHP.
Be happy to see any power hitter LH or RH.

Yea, I think so-- but he's really anyoung prospect- just out of High School, isn't he? But you're right- lots of our prospects are just out of High School. I was thinking of someone maybe a year or two away.
