My comment was to the throw to 2nd. The throw to first was a TOTAL blown call. That guy needs a dock in pay (which i know the Umpires Union will suspend umpires for bad calls and thus earning them less money)Also, you get the benefit of the doubt when the other dude is a fat sack of shit.

He was looking at the umpire to see if he called it a catch or if he had to make the throw to first. It was close enough to the ground and the track record for good calls isnt the greatest this game.Stewart looks at his hand like "wow, did I actually catch that?"

Oh my, I think we just got our two calls back now. For God's sake though, somebody institute instant replay.
And the dh in the nl. Go ahead I am ready for the shit I'll get for that comment.
Honestly as much as I hate the idea of the DH. The rules need to be one across the league. There is just too much of an advantage to AL teams when signing free agents since they can get away with tacking more years on to a contract more easily. (See Soriano, Alfonso)

I think they need to remove the DH from the AL. The game is far more skill oriented on the manager without it. I also like the whole managerial standpoint of the game and less so HR's.Oh my, I think we just got our two calls back now. For God's sake though, somebody institute instant replay.

Well that's what I get for checking email during the game. Thanks!
