I still hate Bartman, and I don't exactly hate goats, so there.Well it's official, Bartman is no longer hated so I guess it's backs to hating on us goats. For the goat population Bartman was a beautifully wrapped gift in headphones that took the blame off all us goats but ESPN had to go and fuck that up by making Bartman look like a human being... I was one of the people who freaked when Bernie Mack jinxed it all in the stretch. To this day, I believe *if* any one person is to blame, it's him. I also remember him ripping on the Cubs after they lost. (My understanding was that he had always been a White Sox fan anyway, so why was a fair weather even invited to sing?)
That said, I turned it off after 20 minutes (it was already a half an hour in) because it was turning my stomach all over again.

Where was Alou's grown-up side? Where was Prior's grown-up side? Why didn't Dusty come out and tell his team to act like adults instead of getting all worked up over a fan? Why didn't Gonzalez handle that tailor-made double-play ball? Why didn't Wood pitch like an ace in Game 7? Never really hated Bartman. Or goats.

Alou never had a grown-up side, Prior was too young to have a grown-up side. As for why Dusty decided to argue the call instead of settle his team down - that will go down in history as one of the worst managerial moves ever.
