I thought Messmer sounded a little "off" at the beginning of the anthem. I'm amazed he can sing at all considering he was shot in the throat back in the 90's.

Every time I see "Wood" at pitcher on the TV graphic I always think it's Kerry.

I'm glad the Cubs don't play the Tigers more often. Austin Jackson fits the profile of "Cub killer".

He is actually very much improved this year in terms of his route running and reads on the ball. Obviously his knees are a major issue though.
