Given how awesome the Trade Deadline Blogathon was, I'm wondering what it will take to get Brett to blog the winter meetings non-stop. A free puppy? Two free puppies? A small cup of coffee from Chick-fil-a?

Ha. You know, I actually have thought about doing just that. The problem is, the Winter Meetings are multiple days long, and sometimes very little happens at the meetings, themselves (though there are always a ton of rumors).

But, as I said. I've thought about it. It turns out, as hard as the first one was, I had a blast doing it.

Actually, if you're really interested in doing another 24 hour thing, the 24 leading up to the first pitch on Opening Day could be a lot of fun.

It doesn't have to be a 24 hour blog-a-thon, but it's looking like the winter meetings are going to be very interesting for Cubs fans this year. Like you said though, it's a good possibility that we would get another ghosting from the Cubs, so it's probably not a good idea.

Nope, has to be non-stop. 120 hours. Around hour 80 I plan on having Brett agree to give one of his kidneys to me. Don't ask why, I have my reasons.

I do think something should be done for the Winter Meetings and opening day, but the blogathon is perfect for the trade deadline. Anyone have some other ideas?

Well, if nothing else, I can assure that there will be TONS of posts during the Winter Meetings; and I suspect this place will be hopping. Hopefully, anyway.

We could find a Card's blog site and spam it like crazy with fake news of Pujols signing with the Cubs. Or we could just post a bunch of nonsense mixed with crazy baseball knowledge like we always do.
