It’s been a sleepy few weeks for Trey Burton, but it was only a matter of time until he found the end zone again.

Burton’s 14-yard touchdown reception on an easy toss from Mitch Trubisky gave the Chicago Bears a 21-14 lead early in the fourth quarter. It’s a simple corner route, but it has to feel like a weight has been lifted off Burton’s shoulders. After all, that’s his first receiving touchdown since Week 9 against Buffalo.
Yeah, that was a long time coming.
It’s been a rough second half for the Bears, who allowed the Packers to come back and tie the game at 14-14 in the third quarter. The Aaron Rodgers led Packers won’t go away without a fight, so the defense really needs to step up and get some stops and the offense could use some more scores.
