BEARS vs. PACKERS: Week 15 Pre-Gamin’ – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

Matt Nagy doesn’t give a heck about the Chicago Bears’ recent struggles against the Green Bay Packers:

Since the start of the 2009 season, the rivalry has been a one-sided butt-whipping contest. In fact, the Bears have just three wins in their last 20 matchups against the Packers. Of those 17 Packers wins since 2009, seven have been double-digit defeats. Simply put, it hasn’t been fun for Bears fans in recent years.

To be fair, Nagy shouldn’t care about what happened in the past – particularly the games he wasn’t around to coach. The whole idea of drafting quarterback Mitch Trubisky and hiring Nagy to coach was with the intent of tilting the scales back in the Bears’ favor and to give the team a competitive chance against Aaron Rodgers and the rest of That Team in Wisconsin. Both of Trubisky’s starts against Green Bay have been one-score losses, so at least things have been more competitive of late.

Soon enough, there will be bigger fish to fry for Nagy, Trubisky, and the rest of the Bears. But they’ll need to clinch a postseason berth (as early as today) before we start crossing that bridge.

And in case you needed a little extra motivation, here you go:
