The Chicago Bears will be without one of their most talented wide receivers for the second half of their ballgame against the Minnesota Vikings:
#Bears injury update:
WR Anthony Miller (shoulder, out)— Chicago Bears (@BearsPR) December 30, 2018
Rookie receiver Anthony Miller will not return for the second half. Miller was originally listed as questionable to return, but has since been downgraded to out. He suffered a left shoulder injury on the Bears’ first offensive drive at the end of a carry and run to the left sideline. And as it turns out, it’s serious enough to keep him out of action for the rest of this one.
It’s the same shoulder that caused Miller to miss time earlier in the season, so it’s worth playing it cautiously.
With Miller and Allen Robinson out, the Bears’ active receivers are Taylor Gabriel, Josh Bellamy, Kevin White, and Javon Wims. That’s the group the Bears will go to battle with for the remainder of the second half. Hopefully, no one else gets bitten by the injury bug this evening.
