agreedI like that Wood challenged Konerko. I'm not surprised to see the strong hit to left. This is baseball: Konerko knew something, Wood learned something (we hope).

Done, its nice to see growth and development... now lets get Rizzo to the show and see what happens to the dynamics of this teamIf Wood can get thru the inning it will be his second quality start in a row,

we'll see as rcleven has mentioned he has not gone over 100 pitches yet. No need to push unless you're certain he isn't getting tired
Nice inning ending GIDP, so does TWood start the 7th?
I think so. He looks sharp, getting the high strike called. His delivery looks so smooth, he appears to have more in the tank.
