It didn’t take long for the betting public to move on to next year after last night’s incredible Super Bowl 51.
Super Bowl 52 odds dropped shortly after the game via Covers, OddsShark and elsewhere. As you probably expect, the Patriots are the current favorites to repeat, since they always seem to find a way. Other teams with upper-tier odds include the hard-luck (bad-decision?) Falcons, the Seahawks, the Packers, and the Cowboys, as the NFC still looks to be the stronger overall conference, last night notwithstanding.

Don’t expect to see the Bears among the favorites, though, especially after that 3-13 campaign in 2016. But if you’re feeling lucky, taking a shot with 100-1 odds could lead to a significant payout if everything went right in free agency, trades, and the draft … oh, and injuries … and the regular season bounces … and the postseason. I guess when you put it that way, you can see why the long shot odds make sense for the Bears.
If you make that wager, you would be wise to do it before the Bears make any offseason moves. If you’ll recall, they are rumored to be interested in this two-time Super Bowl champion:
