Seven members of the Chicago media have won the National Baseball Hall of Fame's Ford C. Frick Award for "excellence in broadcasting": Bob Elson, Russ Hodges, Jack Brickhouse, Harry Caray, Milo Hamilton, Jimmy Dudley, and Gene Elston.
