1979 Cy Young for the Baltimore Orioles...I believe he was 25-7....lost to Pirates 4-3 in series

So Close... I believe he actually won it in 1980. Then blew out his arm in '81 and started broadcasting in '82.

The Cubs traded Santo to the White Sox to get him (and a three others) in 1974.

Joe Carter was the best Cubs TV broadcaster. All I remember is that he had a man-crush on Rondell White.... "way to go Rondell" Those were sad times.
