I'm not a fan of BJ Upton but with the way he is playing this year he is playing his way into a very affordable 3 year deal @ around 12 million per season. That would be a fun team to watch next year I just don't see a way the cubs can get Justin Upton without giving up Castro. Maybe Baez,Szczur, Barney, and a prospect we get from the Dempster trade but teams would be offering more. I just dont see it happening since Were trying to build up the farm not gut it for a player that is known to have attitude problems.

I think the former can be fixed with a good veteran mentor/role model like Soriano the latter can only fixed with heavy doses of thorazine which probably decreases bat speed
