I have been reading Bleachernation for a few months now but this is my first post. What about Larry Beinfest from Florida for GM and Mike Sarbaugh from Cleveland for manager? I haven't really seen either names in any discussions but both have great creditionals.

"Creditionals" sounds like a ML team sponsored by Wall Street.

Welcome. Now what kind of beer are you drinking?

And aren't most teams owed by wall street guys or investment banker, i.e. the cubs?

I don't know much about Sarbaugh, but I've read Beinfest's name a couple times. It never catches on, for whatever reason. He's not old, he's been wildly successful, and he's got the approach that Ricketts is looking for. Maybe there's some reason that everyone knows he won't leave Miami, or maybe it's because he's a "President" rather than a GM (so folks think he won't take a step down - though Mark Shapiro is also a "President," and his name comes up). Don't know, but I'd be interested.

Oh, and, of course, welcome.
