Mark Buehrle is back, but far less interesting than Carlos Zambrano.

With Maholm and Buehrle on the mound, Im expecting this to be a very quick game.

That's a pretty good bet.

Soto earning his pay check lately.

It would be nice if he could hit above then Mendoza line though.

Maholm has a quick inning. At 12 pitches 8 strikes.

I really think Castro's new found patients is hurting him at the plate, he is getting behind in a lot of counts and having to chase. I just hope it translates into long-term success.

Most teams don't consider a catcher for the offense and consider it a plus if they hit.
Lets hope the scouts in the stands feel that way. He's been getting hot with the bat. Come on Angles and make a fair offer.

BB just name dropped Brett, and other bloggers, with regards to reporting trade rumors:

"Some guy named Timmy can blog (the word spat with utter disdain) about a trade rumor, and you're likely to hear about it on that night's sport's highlights!"

Keep up the great work, Brett!

Maholm dodging bullets by letting lead off hitter on three times. Yet the pitch count remains low. At 37.
