1)Castro SS
2)B Jackson CF
3) Morales 1B
4)Morrison LF
5)Colvin RF (Not crazy about this but)
6)3B(hopeful Encarncon)
7)C (whoever wins the spot)
8)Barney 2B

Rotation

1)Lackey
2)Holland
3)Nolasco
4) Wells
5) Neil Ramirez

Set up Marshell and Samardzija

Closer Cashner

this can be changed with other moves like for a RFer or 3B. But the rotation would be solid.

I like it better than this year's roster, but still a number of question marks. Can Morales come back? Can Colvin hit at all? Can one of the young catchers handle the job? Will Lackey rebound? Is Neil Ramirez ready?

And, of course ... no Barney!

So what are the trades in this scenario? Looks like Garza and Soto are traded, somehow Z and Soriano are miraculously moved.

ETA: OK, I found the thread outlining the trades.
