Maybe not quite the same thing, but it had to be better than plowing out your own pitcher's mound in the middle of a season so that you could promote your European soccer distraction. I love Chicago.

The star wars night at the a-ball Whitecaps here in Grand Rapids is quite entertaining but I think it's a little unnecessary for a major league. The cool think about doing it at the minor league park is how much fan involvement they have with the event, I guess I would be fun but still seems a little unneeded for the Cubs to draw a crowd.
