I'm what you guys think - are Cubs fans upset enough to heckle a fellow Cubs fan at a game for wearing a Dempster jersey?

It's the only home jersey I have currently, or I'd wear something else just to be safe.

As fresh as the whole thing is, I think would let it die down a bit before I broke out the Dempster jersey. There are idiots out in the world.
Please don't feed the psychos.

My first take on it is, sure, go ahead and wear it, showing your respect and support for Dempster (deserved). But then as Phil pointed out, there ARE idiots in the world and there is plenty of animosity swirling around the Dempster Hostage Trade Saga, which could incite someone to do something stupid. It's not worth it.

Save the #46 jersey at home for THIS trip. I have a feeling that his team colors are not going to change, so you can wear it the NEXT time you take in a Cubs game.

Lol nice... I'll take your advice and leave it at home this time. I figured it would be too fresh, but nice to have some backing on that thought. Road jersey it is then!

I tend to think a majority of the folks at the game won't be quite as into this as we think they are (we're pretty obsessed, as a group). But, yeah, you'd definitely hear some shit.
