Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa is an incredible baseball player, already, at the ripe old age of 21. So good was he in his 2015 debut season, he took home Rookie of the Year honors – an award he is currently in New York to accept.
Also in New York currently: a blizzard.
According to Evan Drellich, Correa, who comes from Puerto Rico, has never seen snow falling before. That makes him a blizzard rookie, as near as I can calculate these things.
So, when he did this, I think he won himself Rookie of the Year honors in blizzard handling, too:

If you’re keeping score at home, that’s a double, complete with a flop-slide into second base. He probably could have been a little more graceful, but if it gets the job done, it gets the job done.
