DAMN again!!! Joe Mather dives, grabs a dying liner only to have the ball roll out of his glove. DAMN!!! A beautiful play nonetheless. Priceless "almost".

I think Stad will be in this rotation for a long time. He's a big boy and its taken a long time for him to grow into himself. He still is. But, I like this guy.

Volstad had a nice night in the Big Leagues against a club that's tooling itself up for a WS run. NOW. He should feel good about tonight. I do.
