Fun. Free. Money. In your face.
Thanks to Draftstreet, we get to do another free, one-day fantasy baseball contest this week, based on Friday’s games. By performing the simple task of signing up, you (1) give yourself a chance to win part of the $300 prize pool on Friday, (2) guarantee that you’ll have some fun on Friday, and (3) support your friendly neighborhood hang-out, Bleacher Nation. These promotions help keep BN free for you to read and use, so your participation is appreciated.

This week, we’re doing a “Pick ‘Em” style league, which is fun and easy. The way Pick ‘Em leagues work is you have 8 tiers of players and each tier will have players to choose from. All you have to do is select 1 player from each tier. There’s absolutely nothing to lose and it takes 5 minutes to build a team. You can adjust your roster up until the contest starts on Friday, June 21 at 7:05 ET, at which time your rosters will lock and the Live Scoreboard will be available.
The Cubs have a day game on Friday, so they won’t be included in the pool of players. (Obligatory joke about not wanting to use any Cubs players anyway.)
As always, the best part of the contest is the free chance to win some cash. There’s $300 to be won, and 15 of you will win some money. The top score gets $100 and second place gets $60, so there’s a lot of money to be made at the top of this one.
So, to recap: sign up for the contest now. Build your roster. Tweak your roster throughout the week as you see fit. Have some fun on Friday when the games are played. Win some money. For free. You’re welcome.
BONUS: Draftstreet has also offered a bonus in tandem with this contest: a 25% deposit bonus for new depositors. In other words, if you haven’t played the money games before, now’s your chance to do it and get an exclusive 25% bonus on top of whatever you deposit. The code to use when depositing is BNTHANKS. This is just a little freebie that runs this week (but you don’t have to do this to play in this week’s free fantasy contest, or vice versa), so get on it if you’re interested.
Otherwise, sign up for the fantasy contest, and lets have some fun.
*Note: residents of some States are not eligible to play, so if you’re blocked out for that reason, my most humble apologies.
