This is really just a random observation, but I've been noticing certain last names seem to be all over the league (there are about 10 Cabreras out there). I know a quick internet search would yield the results, but I thought I'd post here instead. So here are a few questions I thought would be interesting to ponder:
What's the most common last name currently in MLB?
What's the most common last name every in MLB?
What's the biggest number of brothers to play MLB?
What's the largest family (grandfathers, fathers, sons, etc.) to ever play MLB?
Anyway, hopefully this gives you something to think about other than the Cubs current losing streak... Go Cubs!
