It might, too, be the incessant, overwhelming, front page negativity that helps drive people away.

I like it that Valbuena is patient. He is not easily fooled with border line pitches. I really feel he could develop into a power hitter.......though many feel he should be traded.

My sense of hope has taken a hit.........enough to leave me thinking this game is down the drain.......I realize that is nothing new, but that is what hope does to a fan-----it keeps optimism alive only to be crushed by the futility of hoping itself. It's an irony that eludes understanding......
