This game - and the next two - mean a whole lot to the Pirates.

We tend to crush their dreams of late...

Cubs may have left all the "fight" at the Nats' place.

Ha. Cubs have kept a lead for more than a 1/2 inning.

Ugh: Sori just robbed my fantasy team of a few points!
Gods don't play dice with the universe, they are the dice of the universe: our job is to figure out how many sides and dice!

I doubt that they found their bats; it's more probable that they've seen as many hung pitches tonight as they saw in all four games in DC!

whatever it is.....the Cubs found something that has them "giddy" as hitters----real hitters. Of course, let's not overlook the fact that the Pirates are giving a helping hand ....

Seven----siete---sichi---sept----7 errors by Pitt. If they keep playing like that, they're going to become known as the Cubs twin.

Cubs should play under the name of "Spoilers". They would be off to a great beginning anyway......

This will sound strange, but.....winning the way they're winning does nothing for me. In fact if I linger thinking about it too much, I begin to feel resentful. It conjures up all kind of thoughts about "if only...". Scoring 12 runs and skunking the Pirates has a hollow ring...
