If you want a versatile jersey choice, just turn to the NBA.
Over the years, teams have developed a load of alternate jerseys – the most recent being a league-wide love for the newest version of the City Edition jersey that hit the shelves back in 2018.
Although, instead of always coming up with a new, flashy look, plenty of NBA teams are embracing a different tactic: older is better. Some of the most infamous jerseys come from back in the day, and recently, we’ve seen franchises like the Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers and Memphis Grizzles turn back the clock.

Not only are these teams bring back some of the most iconic looks, but they’re also managing to do it in style. Is it just me, or are you also waiting for the Bulls to release a dope 90’s jersey reveal video of their own?
The folks over at NBC Chicago Sports know what I’m talking about.
Seeing teams announce all these 90s throwbacks coming back this season and the Bulls' black-with-red-pinstripes are still in the vault…… pic.twitter.com/WJgoP8ApYT

I know the Bulls currently have one of the more classic jerseys around the league, but the team still has plenty of great options from the past at their disposal. I wouldn’t mind seeing Markkanen finish a poster-dunk while sporting the classic pinstripes this upcoming season. Heck, let’s even throw it all the way back to 1979 and rep the cursive hardwood classic jerseys. A beauty.
Throughout this offseason, Chicago has tweeted several times asking fans their thoughts on some of their past looks, including the 90s pinstripe and whatever this mess of a jersey was:
The most divisive alternate jersey of all time… #BullsNation, how do we feel about the 2005 Chicago Stags look? pic.twitter.com/uq6xRxdflE

Could the franchise be trying to gain a consensus on which jersey to pull out of the vault? I hope so.
At a time like this, anything that can be done to excite the fanbase it worth giving a shot. The optimism of the offseason can quickly wear off once the season starts, but you might as well ride this train as long as you can. Let’s amp-up the fun with a throwback!
