You knew the stars were going to come out ahead of Thursday’s rivalry grudge match between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, but who could have predicted three of the most iconic figures in this rivalry would share the same stage?
Hall of Fame Packers quarterback Brett Favre and the Saturday Night Live Superfans hooked up for an NBC Sports promo. It was a meeting of legends that was long overdue, so kudos to NBC for bringing these three together just days before the renewal of the NFL’s greatest rivalry.

In front of historic Soldier Field, the trio broke bread, shared a meal, razzed each other by trading jokes, and even exchanged gifts. Because who wouldn’t want a Brett Favre interception calendar?
Favre threw 336 regular-season interceptions, including 42 against the Bears (his most against any team). But if you tack on the 30 he threw in postseason play, you could have an interception per day of the calendar year, and have one to spare. It is the perfect gift for the fan who wants to mark down all of life’s important occasions, while also remembering one of Favre’s many (and often soul-crushing) interceptions. At minimum, the calendar would be far more practical than a stuffed bear and goal post Favre offered up to the Superfans.
