It’s game one of a well-time doubleheader, and Carlos Villanueva will try to put together an end-to-end good start. It’s been a bit uneven for him in the return to the rotation, and with a number of young pitchers angling to get a longer look (Rusin, Arrieta, Grimm, etc.), Villanueva may have to pitch quite well to keep from shifting back to the pen next month.
