Bett,

Here are a couple of pop-up ads that I have seen the last couple of days. They only come up if the cursor rolls over them. I have also seen a survey pop-up but don't have a screen shot. In addition to these, yesterday there were some audio ads that played. They didn't seem to correlate to any of the visual ads though.

Thanks, CB. Those rollover ads (which are not true 'pop-ups,' which I would not allow) are unfortunately here to stay. They are relatively rare (that is to say, those campaigns aren't all that frequent), and I would definitely revisit that position if they started becoming a super frequent thing (every day, all month or something). But, until then, they are just under my threshold for annoying-ness versus well-paying-ness (which, I know, is a terrible thing to say out loud). It's probably a small comfort, but I tend to learn which ones are those types right away, and avoid them with my cursor.

As for the audio auto-play, I'm never OK with that. If you get a sense for what product/company they're for (or see one that you can screenshot), please let me know.

Thanks for the feedback (and can I e-hug you for your BN bookmark placement?).

Haha, we have the same first two bookmarks, CB. The order is reversed for me, though.

Ha, I didn't even think about the bookmarks when I posted those. I did think to get rid of all my other tabs though.

The audio ads were for mucinex and another for ... something else similar (and I'm not even sick between the anthem and medicine ads I may want to go get checked out though).

Man. I'm apparently slacking on that front too.

I don't even have a home page.

I am doubting TWC's homepage. If you notice it's highlighted. Is it possible that he copy-and-pasted right before that screen shot? Is it possible that an advanced race came to his mom's basement and told him to do this to gain favor with Dick Tidrow? Is it possible that Dick Tidrow is an advanced race that built the pyramids using his moustache?

(That's right, this thread has just been hijacked (actually, isn't it correct to say this thread hijacked Dick Tidrow?))

I can assure you it wasn't cut-and-pasted. For whatever reason, Safari's prefs panel highlights the home page field by default.

But as for the rest, it's pretty spot on.

I'm actually kind of surprised that's not a real site. I've seen stranger things on the internet.

Ooh Ooh, you mean like that Eddie Murphy movie where he is a space ship designed to look like a human and the aliens are really small? That would answer a lot of questions.
