From yesterday's San Jose Mercury News (link):
-Q: What impact has Dick Tidrow had on this organization building everything from the pitching side?
-SABEAN: He’s been involved in virtually every one of these guys we’ve drafted and developed, and that’s unique. He’s got a real ability to identify a delivery that’s going to work, a kind of timeline once they’re signed, what they need to do to get to the big leagues.
And we’re not afraid to get ‘em up maybe a little sooner than other clubs and we’ve been very lucky with the major-league manager and the coaching staff we have, because they’ve done a great job of putting them in positions to have success, especially being exposed to the playoffs at a young age.
He’s always been a big part of what we do.
The rest of that article is a bunch of SF Gaints bumwash. Brian Sabean is a douche.
