Just an improvement suggestion - an auto-refresh for the main page would be awesome. Much of the time, I'll pull up Bleacher Nation and leave it up, checking the comments regularly to follow the discussions. Not sure if this is already available or maybe too hard to implement, but thought it couldn't hurt to suggest. I am far from a computer expert, so forgive me if this is a stupid request!
Keep up the good work, though. This is my most visited site on all of the internet.

I don't think auto-refresh is that hard to code. One could also go over to the Drudge Report to "see how they do it over there"
In fact a quick Google search came up with this:
this code <META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="5">
This tells the browser to refresh the page (HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH"), and that it should do so every five seconds (CONTENT="5").

Thanks for the suggestion, Tommy (and the thoughts, Joe). It isn't too difficult to implement, but it's been my experience that you are the exception, rather than the rule. Most people strongly dislike an auto-refresh (I know I hate it - I'm always thinking, "listen, web page: if I wanted to refresh you, I'd refresh you"), but I'll start thinking about it. Maybe if it was on a long-enough delay, it wouldn't annoy people.

Thanks for the consideration, buddy! And not sure how hard THIS would be, but I know the ESPN chat thingy when Bruce Levine does the Cub's chat, that has an option to turn auto-refresh on or off.
Anyhow, thanks for even thinking about it. It's a great site either way, man!

I agree with Brett that that particular autorefresh is bunk.
On the otherhand, if you're a boss at javascript (I certainly am not) it's possible to have comments appear in realtime, which I believe is what Tommy is looking for in the first place.
until then there's always the F5 key
