It was the Colts before the Orphans. I guess the PC crowd wasn't around back then.I thought that the Orphans was just a name that the media gave them. Weren't they still known as the Colt's back then?

They got the nickname of the Orphans after (I believe) Chance left the team. I know it was after one of their players left, just not 100% and too lazy to look it up.

Speaking of PC mascots, Centralia High School (Illinois) is still called The Orphans...
