Wasn't Gary Sheffield his own agent when he was a player? Wikipedia stated he became an agent after his career, but I though he negotiated his own contract with the Yankees.
He definitely did negotiate a few of his own contracts, but he'd usually get an agent and then fire him.
Also, I will raise my hand, because I knew this. He's an asshole but he probably wouldn't be the worst agent in the world.

I knew this too, but only because I saw he was trying to represent a couple of the kids in the draft this past year.
