Tuffy Rhodes hit three home runs on Opening Day for the Cubs in 1994.

I was thinking the same thing.

Yes, there was a question about it earlier. Apparently, toward the end of the year The Calendar runs out of gas.

Here it is and not too long ago. It's also not too different. I guess it's the calendar's form of a pop quiz (except in reverse)?

Can they really not come up with 365 different things? oh well. Here's one: What was the final score of the first game the Chicago White Stockings (before they were the Cubs) played?

I don't remember the score, but it was a bit unbalanced.

How about: (1) How many home runs did Tuffy hit in his ML career?; (2) What HR record did he set?

I will go with 132 career HRs and single season with, say 13?

Understatement of the century...I'll let it go a little while longer before giving out the answer.

Judging from the clues, I must be wrong, but I'll say 4-0 (W)

After a little research... I can see it was 47-1 in 1870. I was first guessing the year was 1876

1876 was the first year that they were a professional club. They were armature before that. If memory serves me correctly.
