I first time I saw this I was like freaked out...but then I read that it was CGI. Good job on them, though.

The scary part is that CGI is getting so good (and so easy--I think that was a college kid's project).

Not only is stuff rumor quality now; its nearly court evidence quality.

And is seeing believing? Could the fact CGI is getting so good (eventually) make legit video evidence suspect?

Oh, cripes, let's hope not. The *worst* evidence is eyewitness evidence. It's too bad that it's such a galling thing to admit ("I know what I saw!"). Eyewitness evidence in court should be relegated to the dustbin of legal history.

Eyewitness evidence is pretty important. But, it's also pretty easy to discredit and destroy if you have a capable lawyer.
