Sad to say former MLB and Cub player Ryan Freel died at 36 years of age through suicide.He spent the most of his career with the Cincinnati Reds. RIP Ryan.

I have a baseball card of him from 2004 or 2005 and I remember the fun fact about the guy was that he ripped the cover off the ball when he played little league and he actually hit a car for his first homer (little league obviously). I enjoyed watching him play for the Reds. He played the game the right way. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and the kids he helped out.
