Merry Christmas to all!!

Thinking it might be fun to find a game several BNers could attend in Des Moines. Katie suggested Friday Night games for the fireworks. The ICubs have their home opener on April 12th.

Any other ideas, thoughts, feelings?

I'm definitely in. I'd like to try to go to multiple games. In fact, the mini season ticket package is great. I've done it the last few years.

I'm hoping we could not only get the DM people together but some out of towners as well!!

Is the I Cubs schedule out yet? Is it on their website? I don't see it. A little help please. I've always wanted to see the I Cubs in Iowa.

I'm down for anything. I'd probably drive down from Wisconsin with my girlfriend (I don't have a car) so the fuller the day the better.

April 12 could be pretty chilly!

That's a heck of a drive for me, but I might actually have to go just to meet some of you folks that I've come to know so well on these boards. I am curious to see if Stinky looks like Epstein from Welcome Back Kotter. I'm thinking that's not really him!

The 12th is the first Friday of school vacation. Easier for me to meet up with you all mid-week, the April teens, as the flights to--where Iowa?-- will be most expensive on the first day (and last) of school vacation. I do better to fly midweek.

This IS a vacation destination for me.

Ha! I knew there was going to be a comment directed at me, Hansman. I can't believe it took long!

I think there's a group from Twitter that's strongly considering making the trek over from Chicago in May. I'm up for Opening Day as well as multiple games throughout the season.

And for those not in the know, Iowa is a great vacation spot!
