 **NOT REALLY A SPOILER ALERT**

I'm definitely hoping the series veers away from a major event part way through Book 3...I had to stop reading...

By the way, I COMPLETELY take back my last post about Theon. His story is going to be EPIC. And this Sunday is gonna be the best episode of the season until the ninth episode of this year.

I'm just glad the blonde Khalisi isn't as annoying anymore.

That's good.  While she isn't as annoying, her storyline just annoys me.

Anyone know who that guy was that saved Theon from getting sodomized after taking a mace to the chest??? That's been driving me crazy!!!!

I do. But, I shan't say!

Spencer...meaning he is new and hasn't been introduced?  If that is the case then I am ok with it...just wasn't remembering who he was if he was from sometime in the past...

Anyone surprised to see how decent Brienne's backside looked?? I'm thinking it was probably a butt-double though...

This is from the GoT Wiki:

"As a trained dancer and photography model, she favors heels and lots of make-up. In her interview with SFX magazine she talks about the way fans made her aware of the part. She found her name posted on a website as the one who should play Brienne, and then when she asked her agent about this part, he had already been emailed by another fan informing him of it."

Yeah I've never read the books and that had me screaming, crying, and gasping throughout those last few minutes.

As a book reader, I knew what was going to happen.

And the bastards still managed to make it more awful than it was in the book!  And by "more awful," I mean it was even crueler to behold than it was to read.  Hey!  Didn't get enough of Ned Stark dying in Season 1?  Well, it's 50:50 that another Ned Stark just died!

When the book came out, a lot of fans swore off the series: and the Usenet group (yeah, it was that long ago!) really did die.  However, book sales picked up.  I'm wondering if the same is going to happen: for every viewer lost, more than one person is going to start watching after all of this publicity!

Finally, for your listening pleasure:

Yea, I'm with you, Doc. I had read it and knew what was coming, and was still pretty much floored by it. Only a sadist could continue to watch/read after what happens, I think.

I guess there are lots of sadistic suckers out there!

(Makes me wonder if there's a lot of overlap between Cubs fans and George R.R. Martin fans...)

There was a poll last year about which baseball team went with which house.  The Lannisters?  D'uh: the Yankees.  The Tyrells?  The Sox.

But the biggest winner of all was the team for the Starks.  Need I write more?

So, how long until someone gets to write: "Marmol made a Red Wedding out of that inning"?

I finally watched the last episode so I knew something was coming, but not sure what. I still didn't think all that was going to happen.
