Cubs Trivia:

Although the Chicago National League Ball Club officially adopted the nickname Cubs in 1907, they had been known by many different names in their early history. Two of them were Orphans and White Stockings, how many others can you name?

The Remnants, Murphy's Spuds or the Spuds, and Anson's Colts, I can't think of seeing them called anything else, maybe the Chicago National League Ballclub?

Trojans, Zephyrs and Spuds are all correct. 2 remaining.

Additional trivia question:

Upon the departure of which player, did the team earn the nickname "Orphans"?

Just glad that I can participate. Last year I never had a chance with Stinky Pete and Queen Jeff...

Hints for the remaining 2 names:

1. It's a fairly important Central American country that had a lot going on around the turn of the 20th century.
2. If you are in a drought you wish there was one of these.
