Cubs Trivia:

The ivy on the walls of Wrigley Field is actually a mix of two appropriately named varieties of plant. Can you name both varieties?

Please don't feed the psychos.

In his autobiography, "Veeck as in Wreck", Veeck wrote about planting bittersweet. He told Mr. Wrigley earlier that he was planting ivy on the walls. Supposedly, at some point, Wrigley called Veeck saying he was bringing some people in town to see the game and look at the ivy. Veeck hadn't even started, so he planted bittersweet on the wall instead after he found out it could be planted overnight and ivy couldn't. He put the ivy in later.

I've got one of them in growing in the backyard of my childhood home... my Dad planted it. After the divorce my Mom made me tear it off the side of the carriage house :(. There's still a healthy patch of it on the ground.
