Brett, is there a chance you can activate a mobile skin so the forums dont take forever to load on my phone so I can be a jerk without the hassle? If not, thats cool, I'll just have to put a curse on you to make your nose hairs grow extraordinarily fast.

The current mobile theme for the forum software is incredibly buggy, and I couldn't get it to work properly when I first set up the board. Eventually I'll be upgrading the board (ETA: not sure because upgrading requires a lot of back-end work), but until then, there isn't a mobile option. Sorry...

What phone are you using, by the way? Board loads up zippy for me (iPhone).

I'm on an HTC Hero, there aren't many sites that load slowly, BN is one of them though. It is tough to be snarky when I have to wait for the boards to load.

The differing loading speeds across platforms and broswers is among one of the most frustrating things about running a web site. I do so much work behind the scenes to try and improve site performance, and, no matter how much I do, there are always certain methods of accessing the site for which it is slow, relative to other sites. Drives me freaking crazy.
