Cubs Fact:

"I don't like to sound egotistical, but every time I stepped up to the plate with a bat in my hands, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the pitcher." - Rogers Hornsby, who hit .380, .308, and .331 in his three full seasons (1929-31) as a Cubs player.
Please don't feed the psychos.

Which I think you need to have to play any sport at an exceptional level. Johnny Bench called it "Inner Conceit". He didn't go around telling everyone how awesome he was. But in his own mind, to himself, he knew he was the best.
