After a lengthy journey of 5 years and tens of clicks on the Cubs website, I got offered Cubs season tickets in the bleachers.

But I'm broke...

However, for the low-low-low price of less than $.01 per second YOU could be the proud owner of this GORGEOUS season ticket!!!!!!

For realz...I am willing to let someone have my spot in line and have access to buying the bleacher season tickets.

Or, a time share situation?

How much are season tix for the bleachers? Per seat, I mean.

I got the email, too...which means back in January I could have had them in the regular bowl section.

The deposit for a 56 game combination plan is $211.90. The total, due March 1st, is $2,119.04.

The deposit for a 81 game package is $307.55. The total, due March 1st, is $3,075.52.

Oh, and a deposit has to be made by February 18th.

The drop down list on the website when you go to purchase them goes up to eight.

I should add: The deposit is 10% of the total price of the number of tickets you buy.

I got the same letter a couple of months ago. I felt like this was their way to dwindle the season ticket list. I still feel like they are just opening this up to a much larger than normal amount of people this year. I can't buy this year, it just caught me off gaurd. We will all be kicking ourselves when they are in the playoffs next year, and the world series for years to come. The only good news is I have a new number, and only about 7 more years to wait. I am not complaining, it just seems different this year than in previous years.

• You are allowed to buy one set of seats. I was thinking about doing that. It would suck this year, but at least you wouldn't loose your spot in line?? You are given the option of increasing your number of tickets the following year, if available. The advantage of being bleacher tickets is you would at least have a chance to get some of your money back selling individual tickets because of general admission??
