Bryan Salamone Law Firm:

He has worked as a Computer Engineer at a well known computer solutions company for the past five years; in which he was responsible for managing the engineering of hundreds of successful computer programs and software applications. He is also well versed inALL of the standard and new computer programming languages and programs.

It's a no-brainer.

You're welcome.

I literally laughed out loud. And I have a big, hearty, Santa Claus-esque laugh. Thanks.

I know you jest, but that is a long-term plan. I'd gladly pay the right company to do a complete site overhaul (including content management system, replacing Wordpress). But I'm there quite yet - and I don't know how to find the right company.

In testing, I'm already running into a big problem: there is no (that I can find) quality, Disqus-compatible "Recent Comments" widget - i.e., the thing on the right that shows the most recent comments, which I get the sense people use quite a bit.

Want: a solution that makes everything just exactly the way I want it to be

Importance: High

Timeframe: Immediate

Willingness to compromise: Zero

Chance of success: ...

... *sigh*

Looks like Disqus used to have its own Recent Comments widget, but discontinued it in the most recent iteration of Disqus for some reason (must've been broken). I'll keep testing/researching/etc. on Disqus, because there are some things to like about it.

That said, don't look for any major changes for a while - mostly because of the impending arrival of The Little Boy.

So I actually developed an iPad app recently and went through an entire process with an international company. They were very friendly and quite reasonably priced. If you would like Brett , I could put you in contact with them.

Thanks, Ceram. I'm not quite there yet, but, when I am, I'll probably put the call out for tips like that.

I'm kinda really getting into the idea of Disqus, long-term. It seems the two big drawbacks are:

1.) No recent comments widget available presently;

2.) No bold/ital/underline/etc. available (like, at all).
